Organisations and Workplaces

Grief does not stop at the office door. When an employee loses someone they love, the impact reaches into every corner of their life - including their working day. Yet bereavement remains one of the most overlooked areas of workplace wellbeing.

The reality is that most of us will experience significant loss at some point during our working lives. Whether it is the death of a family member, a close friend, or a colleague, grief can affect concentration, motivation, relationships at work and overall mental health - often for far longer than employers realise.

Without the right support in place, grieving employees can feel isolated, misunderstood and ill-equipped to cope. Managers, too, can feel uncertain and underprepared when it comes to having these conversations. A little understanding goes a long way.

I offer tailored grief and bereavement workshops for organisations, teams and workplaces across Cumbria, London and online - helping employers create a culture where loss is acknowledged, people feel supported, and no one is expected to simply "get on with it."
